Latest DPG News:
Monday 9th May 2011 - The Speaking Up Group location for the May meeting has changed! We are now meeting at the Pagoda centre instead of St Philips Church.
Tuesday 3rd May 2011 - We have two jobs on offer! They are for the Coordinator post and an Admin post. There is also some backgroup information about Tunbridge Wells DPG.
The interviews will be in week beginning 30th May, still confirming exact date
Wednesday 16th Feburary 2011 - Can you help? We are looking for volunteers (more details coming soon).
We have an advert for our out March DPG Meeting. Would be great to see you there and let us know what you want us to be doing for the next year.
Tonight, it is Speaking Up Group so the minutes of the previous meeting, the agenda and then the advert. Would be great to see you there!
Also an invite to a workshop (and agenda) on the 2nd March at Wellington House. This workshop supported by the SE Valuing People Support Team and SE Family Carer Network is for carers in the SE region who care for someone with profound and multiple disabilities.
Monday 31st January 2011 - The dates and information is out now for all the District Partnership Group meetings for 2011.
Tuesday 25th January 2011 - We are looking for a new co-chair starting April 2011, please see the job description and letter if you are interested. Would be great to hear from you.
Friday 19th November 2010 - we are launching our printing service today - check out the short leaflet and contact us if you have enquires about the service.
Wednesday 17th November 2010 - the dates are out for the Speaking Up Group from now until April next year!
Monday 25th October 2010 - Our DPG meeting dates are out for the next 6 months!

Easy Read Information
We have created a short section of our website about Easy Read here
We will talk about:
- What Easy Read is
- How to create Easy Read documents
- Other forms of communication with those who are disabled
We are current using this information (among other things) to create a FREE pdf guide to producing easy read documents however it is relevant to anything created for people with disabilities (not just learning disabilities). Watch this space!
We are now offering a printing service which all the money goes to help and employ people with learning disabilities. Please check it out and contact us with any enquires.
